Dogs and cats have a gestation period of about 60 days. That amounts to six litters of puppies and kittens a year!

With an average of four to six babies in each litter, that’s 24 to 36 offspring a year!

In 2025, in partnership with Helen Sanders Cat Paws, FOLBA fixed 967 cats! And through our partnership with The Little Lion Foundation, FOLBA fixed 2,614 cats!

And, with our new partners at Get ‘Em Fixed Long Beach, over 100 dogs and counting have been fixed so far in 2026!
