That’s right, thanks to Friends of Long Beach Animals you can adopt a rescue kitty all during the month of March 2021 and pay no adoption fees from The Little Lion Foundation.
During the month of February, Friends of Long Beach Animals are sponsoring adoption fees at Live Love Animal Rescue in Long Beach.
It’s the perfect time to adopt a pet and make it a little easier on your pocketbook so you can buy a few extra dog toys!
What a great time to adopt! Now through the end of this tumultuous year 2020, Friends of Long Beach Animals will be sponsoring the adoption fees from the Long Beach Shelter, Long Beach Animal Care Services.
That means it’s a great time to bring home that cute puppy or mischievous kitty just in time for the holidays!
Did you know that when you’re doing your everyday grocery shopping you can help support the animals? Friends of Long Beach Animals is a registered non profit in the Kroger – Ralphs – Food4Less Community Rewards program.
That means every time you shop at either store and use your club card or Alt ID, they will donate money to Friends of Long Beach Animals!
Friends of Long Beach Animals recently supported The Little Lion Foundation and presented them with FOLBA’s matched donation funds of $10,000 from their successful participation in the Long Beach Gives fundraising event.
FOLBA is proud to support this organization which owns and operates Long Beach’s first ever kitten nursery, the Long Beach Paws Project. To date they have saved the lives of nearly 1,000 kittens! We wish them the best of luck in this upcoming year of dedication to all the little paws of Long Beach.
We’re humbled by the generous donation from Timmons Subaru of Long Beach as part of the Share the Love Event.
During the event for every Subaru sold they donate $250 to local community nonprofits and FOLBA is honored to be chosen again this year and to receive a donation of over $38,000.
Friends of Long Beach Animals has been reaching out the members of the Long Beach area community during the ongoing pandemic by offering subsidized adoption fees and community events.
On March 13th, 2021 FOLBA partnered with the Little Lion Foundation along with Live Love Animal Rescue and participated in the Free Pet Wellness Event whereby FOLBA and these other non profit organizations helped community members by offering free vaccines, microchips, pet gift cards, pet food, and more.
We love sharing adoption success stories! Remember Oliver, the found kitten who lost his mamma in a car accident?
Oliver (now Charlie) is now chillin’ in his new home with a big brother cat and is enjoying his new life. Thanks for adopting this once homeless kitten Andrea!
