Friends of Long Beach Animals was once again one of the featured nonprofits at the Subaru booth at the Los Angeles Auto Show from November 17th – 26th.
FOLBA, along with Sparky and the Gang also from Long Beach brought several dogs and puppies to the specially designed dog adoption zone at the Subaru booth.
The annual tradition coined as Subaru Loves Pets allowed families and their kids to take a break from walking the fantastic selection of EV’s and automobiles and just chill with the puppies for a few relaxing minutes. For some families, this was the first time their children interacted with a dog. Larry Blunden, FOLBA’s Treasurer introduced all visitors to a portion of our Humane Education program teaching them how to approach and safely pet a dog.
A number of pets were adopted as a result of the event at the auto show, and FOLBA was proud to help facilitate these adoptions. Thank you to all the FOLBA and Sparky volunteers for helping man the show during this marathon 10 day event.
