FOLBA is offering free virtual vet care and an emergency fund of up to $3,000.
We’re excited to announce that during the month of July any dog or cat adopted from City of Long Beach Animal Care Services will get a FREE year of unlimited access to a vet team and a $3,000 pet emergency fund!
This program, through Pawp comes with no deductibles and covers up to 6 family pets and is sponsored by Friends of Long Beach Animals.
Valid for adoptions from Long Beach Animal Care Services from July 1 – July 30, 2022. Restrictions apply. This is a value of $288.
In time for the 4th of July when so many pets go missing, FOLBA is offering FREE microchipping for your dog or cat! Please take advantage of this opportunity if your pet is not currently microchipped.
It may mean the difference of being reunited with your pet or not. Pass on this information to everyone you know so we can microchip as many pets as possible in Long Beach and the surrounding areas.
There are many options for getting your pet microchipped through our programs.

On Saturday May 1st Friends of Long Beach Animals was out at the Los Altos Pet Supplies Plus helping the pet store celebrate their 1 year anniversary.
Along with Long Beach Animal Care Services, FOLBA was meeting members of the community and sharing information about their mission. Some video recording from the Pawz TV crew was also happening and a video of the event is expected to be released soon.
One of the highlights of the event was their new puppy mascot, yet un-named. FOLBA is having a contest to help name the critter and and voting options will be posted soon on social media.
Special thanks to Pet Supplies Plus for hosting and the community for stopping by and giving generous donations to Friends of Long Beach Animals.

What a great time to adopt! Now through the end of this tumultuous year 2020, Friends of Long Beach Animals will be sponsoring the adoption fees from the Long Beach Shelter, Long Beach Animal Care Services.
That means it’s a great time to bring home that cute puppy or mischievous kitty just in time for the holidays!

We only ask that you please remember that an adoptable animal is not a Christmas present, it’s a life long commitment!
